VIDEO:  Surfrider & San Diego Coastkeeper: Working together to Keep Southern California's Beaches Clean

Whether a long time resident or a first time tourist, California's beaches draw thousands of tourists a year. Although this traffic can harm our beautiful coast line, it is only a fraction of the abuse. Our coast is also home to some of the nations largest urban areas and busiest ports. All of this abuse puts our coast in jeopardy. For the last 25 years The Surfrider Foundation has been fighting for clean water and beaches. They now partner with Coastkeeper for a monthly beach clean-up.
