VIDEO:  Obama, Youth, & Technology

Now that Barack Obama is the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party, I thought I'd talk to some local supporters about his campaign. Steve Turner, age 25, is a community organizer and Obama supporter. Turner was one of the major players in establishing Obama's campaign headquarters here in Nashville, and I talked with him about the campaign's youth outreach and use of technology to get more young people involved in the campaign and politics in general.

This certainly brings a fresh outtake on the 08 presidential race. He really has a point. The way this country has been led in the past is probably half the reason we're in the state we are now. If we let the youth play a part in choosing their destiny we may end up with money for retirement by the time we grow old rather than just depending on the system we have in place. We really are the future of tomorrow.
