There’s always been a debate among journalists about our biases…do we acknowledge them and let our audience decide for themselves if we’re reporting objectively, or do we keep them to ourselves as best we can, even at the expense of not being able to be part of the society we’re reporting on?
In a year that is as politically-charged as this one, especially among young people, I wondered how journalism students felt about staying politically-neutral for the sake of their future careers.
