The Wounded Warrior Project held its Defenders of Freedom annual ride through Colorado Springs last month. Close to 400 riders took part in the 40 mile event. The event honors all the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States Military. The purpose of the ride was to raise funds that will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project for programs that help severely wounded service members from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts and the Global War on Terrorism.
