Every Tuesday members of the Philly chapter of the group Drinking Liberally gather at Tangier to talk politics. The group is a diverse mix of left-leaning politicos, an unusually high number of whom have their own blogs. Twelve of Drinking Liberally regulars are bloggers, and a few even make a living off of it. Still, everyone I spoke with said there's no subsitute for face-to-face political conversation.
