Moscow, Idaho's city council recently passed a resolution to extend health benefits to the domestic partners of city employees, despite the state's ban on the recognition of any union other than the marriage of a man and a woman. Some Idaho groups, such as the Idaho Values Alliance, say the resolution is un-Constitutional. Supporters of the resolution say if the resolution is overturned, they'll reword it to get around the ban.
