One day after the Democratic presidential field was winnowed from three to two, just one of the candidates made an appearance at the Georgia Democratic Party's annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner on Wednesday, January 30th. Though the official honorees for the evening were former Sen. Max Cleland and Rep. John Lewis, their distinguished presence was nearly overshadowed by the uproar that greeted Sen. Hillary Clinton at the end of the event.
