The U.S. is reducing the amount of troops in Iraq by sending one of 20 brigades home.  19 brigades will remain in Iraq and a brigade already in the country will cover the area left open by the returning troops.  This is a huge step in the right direction for U.S. military policy and is the first major troop reduction since the beginning of the "surge" implemented by our commander in cheif.  By this coming July, only 15 brigades should be left in Iraq.  Hopefully, this goal will be met.
