There are a few things in our lives that we’re unsure about. Why should our HIV status be one of them?
This June 27 - National HIV Testing Day - find out for sure. The sooner you know your HIV status, the sooner you can take control of your (sex) life.
One in four people living with HIV in the US today don’t know it. There is only one way to know for sure – getting tested.
It only takes "A Minute" to decide to get an HIV test. Yet, many people still have not been tested. On June 27, take the next step. You can find a testing center in your area, make an appointment or just drop in and take the test. Whether it’s at a local clinic or in your doctor’s office, there are HIV tests available that can give you your results in only 20 minutes. No needles, no blood, no pain.
The sooner you know your HIV status, the sooner you can take action. Do it for yourself, because you respect yourself. And do it for those you love, because you respect them too.
If you’re HIV positive, there are treatments available to help you live a long, healthy life. If you are HIV negative, you can take steps to protect yourself so you can stay that way.
