TEENS AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

My name is Kayla I'm 15 years old and i started this group for teens who are not only against child abuse but also are or were victims or child abuse. I was a victim of child abuse up un till i was 13. I never told anyone about it and trust me if I could go back and change one thing I didn't do then it would to tell someone. No child should ever have to go through what me and several other kids in not only this country but the whole world have to go through every day. And with your help I want to try and stop it from happening anymore. The future is in our hands so lets make it a better and safer place for everyone including the children.

The main reason why I wanted to join Think was to see and support any organizations against child abuse. I recently just got over being physically and emotionally abused. Taking a stand against child abuse is a great and important cause. I think many people should support or at least become aware of this problem because those plagued by child abuse are everyday persons who need help coping with the traumatizing things they have endured.

totaly and completley agree i went through it for most of my life almost and it is not a fun thing at all and its really hard to get over and its also something u will never get over it will be with u for ur whole life and no one should ever have to go through that.

I am joining this group because I believe that children are the future of the world and I want to support their safety. I also find it beautiful to see those who were victims come out and speak about the abuse and I will support anyone who does.

I was a victim of child abuse. i wa sin foster care when it happened and was afraid to speak up just threatened over and over again with an even bigger beationg if i told it took everything in me to tell and i was stuck in that situation a month afterwards enduring what no child should. it is sad to know that people act like that towards children it creats a never ending cycle with most kids who go on to abuse or who end up in abusive releationships because they know of noting but abuse
