BIRMINGHAM, AL - The polling locations are a little quiet on a rainy morning here in Alabama on Super Tuesday. However, many passionate candidate supporters are out in the streets getting loud for their candidates. The weather is overcast with scattered showers throughout the day. There is also a severe weather forecast for later this afternoon, which means that TORNADOES may be heading through Alabama this afternoon. Severe weather (and obviously tornadoes) would keep many people away from the voting booths this Super Tuesday.
Around 8:00 am I caught up with some energetic young Obama supporters who were on the street corner holding huge signs chanting "YES WE CAN" to passing cars, many honked their horns with approval. Other drivers were very vocal in telling them they supported other candidates.
