Inside my husband’s race for the US Senate
Posted May 12, 2008 at 10:51 PM

It’s 12:03am on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.  That means it’s primary day here in Nebraska.

Usually during elections I am following the youth vote trend and reporting on the increase with my role at the Young Voter PAC or my part-time gig with MTV’s Street Team.

Today, I will be in a very different role.

My husband Scott Kleeb is running for the Democratic nomination for US Senate and has a primary challenger Tony Raimondo.  This is the first time in over 30 years that Democrats in Nebraska have a primary for the Senate seat.

I will be blogging throughout the day, giving you a little glimpse from a wife’s perspective, an activist and of course Nebraska’s MTV Street Team perspective.

Polls are open from 8am to 8pm CT.

My husband’s campaign has a voter resource guide up on his site:

Here are a few pics of Scott, his campaign manager Jeff and his communications director Joe as they finalize tomorrow’s speeches and schedule.

See you back in a few hours...
