VIDEO:  Kansas City Clash

Passions flared in Kansas City when the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps came to town. Described by some as a hate group, the Minutemen are committed to curbing illegal immigration, which they say is perpetuated by do-nothing government and is a threat to national security.

Before I comment, a caveat. Immigration is not a very salient issue to me. As such, regardless of my political affiliations, I'm more-or-less indifferent.

However, the girl towards the beginning of the video said "Most of KC is against (the minutemen's) message." Well, I'd like to see her sources for that information. She is committing the No. 1 rule of bad political propaganda: Creating bogus information.

Well-told story, though.
