Ron Paul is a Republican running for president and yes he is still in the race and fighting for every delegate.

I am trying to figure out why the home page says that the republican nominee has been announced, when it hasn't? Does that make any sense? my understanding is that it wont be announced till September and quite frankly Ron Paul has not left the race at all. It seems like the major tv stations are blackballing him (no surprise as deeply as they are entrenched in things, but I was hoping that here MTV would give everyone a clearer view of what's going on.

Ron Paul is not only the most anti war (illegal war) of all left in the race, he the most fiscally conservative of all the candidates and his congressional voting record shows he has a deeper grasp of monetary issues than most and he the most consistent in his NO votes in hopes of reining in taxing and spending. If there is anything Ron Paul hates, it big government waste, which is rampant and eating away at your average MTV viewers

Here's a recent article from forbes very concise on his views. Check it out and don't count him out. We would all do well under his leadership because of the liberty he'd restore. (Even if he doesn't get the nomination, I'll write him in and vote for no one else)

Interesting, only Ron Paul supporters commenting, including myself. Is it really a good explanation that supporters of other candidates aren't as internet-savvy as Ron Paul's? Which candidate has the most support from the internet? RON PAUL. What does the internet consist of? REAL PEOPLE.

Let's get one thing straight. The Republican Nominee has not been declared, yet. The Republican Declaration does not happen until September. Just because the mainstream media is wanting McCain to be the nominee so badly doesn't make it true. Get your facts straight.
