Boy I am so proud of you and your mom I was just crying I could really feel you. Despite all the things you and your mom have been thru she has raised you to be a caring, loving, and a fine gentlemen. God take us thru things in our life for reasons and I am so glad that you were so open about your situation so that you can show somebody else how to go about helping someone special to them. Man, like I said I am so proud of you both and remember that prayer changes everything so i'll be praying. My biggest dream is to meet you both, Thanks alot. I just saw your Doc last night and I think you are so brave to come out like this. My Mom left me when I was 17 yrs old and took off to Atlanta and is now a crack addict. I haven't seen her for 5 yrs now and I don't know where she is. It was hard growing up real fast and without her. I wish I could find her and do an intervention like you.
I've liked your music but now I have a new respect for you. Thank you for coming out and showing you are human.

I am a student at Fayetteville State University and my drug education class studied this documentary and I feel that her struggle with this is addiction is so complex. You can only get a true understanding if you are the family member that struggles with their loved one. I commend Mario, because he had to put his foot down and let his mom know that he can’t continue to be the enabler and she needs help. This documentary showed me that this happens to even celebrities. All addicts are the same and you have to put personal feelings to the side and help the addict get treatment if they are willing to accept help.

I am a student at Fayetteville State and we watched your show in my Drug Education class and it was interesting. You are a very strong person to be able to handle your mom's drug addiction because it is a very hurtfull thing to know and deal with. I am so glad that you are there for your mom because most people will give up because they become weak. Im also proud of you and your mom because you and her kept your mother and son relationship. hey Mario i saw u and ur moms story and i wanted to tell u dat it will get better only if u stick with her and let her knw that u love her.My mother and i went through a similar situation that you and you're mom did but my mom did'nt want to get clean i know dat its hard for you rite now just as it was for me but i made it and i graduated from high school and know im on my way to college. i mean think about it this way you're mom coild have been doin drugs for a much longer time if you did'nt care for her the way u did and know you and her can both be happy.......I wish you and you're mom much happiness and u much sucess with you're carrer and dis is my e-mail u can write me anytime fusgirl17@yahoo.com or u can IM me quida117@aol.com
