I agree that many young men who grow up without a father figure in their life don’t always have an example of how to behave when they enter fatherhood. They don’t always have a clear idea of what it means to be the man of the house. How do we change that? How do we teach boys how to become men when there is no male role model in the house? I say we take it one step at a time. Every father that stays in his child’s life and is an active parent is making a huge step towards ending the cycle of single parent households.

On another note, grandmother’s are phenomenal. Their wisdom and their strength are undeniable. I notice that event the most misbehaving and disrespectful youth will act right in a grandmother’s presence. Check Madea…
