Just because you're a college student, doesn't mean that education is the most important subject. I sincerely hope that more videos are posted besides this "free college" crap. The last thing this country needs is politicians winning people over with false promises.

yes, next time ask john edwards who is going to pay for all the college, if we made illegals pay taxes like the rest of us then maybe we could fund it

I think Mr. Edwards' idea is excellent. I would like to see opportunities for all who want to study and take responsibility for their future. Responsibility is a key word here, and we should hold high standards in exchange for the opportunity. People who receive subsidized education should make no less than 2.7 GPA. If they fall under it, they should loose the right to the opportunity.

I think that the best point he brought up was banks making money off of the loan system. Federal Student loans are meager at best and there is much the government could do to improve them. John Edwards made a good point; however, would he follow through?

I honestly think that this is a good plan. Most of us are skeptical towards it because it's a new idea to the United States, and we're not used to having such an opportunity like this. However, many countries are already doing this. (I can name two off the top of my head that do: Uruguay and France. Uruguay's literacy rate is 97%, and France is already a first world country.) With so many college students graduating in so much debt, how bad could this bill be? How could it possibly worsen the situation? Something needs to be done to further the education of our students.

who is going to pay for it, me? ha! nice try. This already goes on in most states however this plays on the ignorants of the public to sop this up with the biscuit if thinking im doing my part blindly not knowing were is this money coming from or were is it all going to go.
Change the future of sex ed. ISIS-Inc and RH Reality Check have launched a contest called Fresh Focus Sex Ed Video Contest. Film makers must be 15-30 years old and make an original video about sex education that follows one of two themes:

1. Share your sex ed experience so far. Show us how and why it sucked or rocked.

OR

2. Redesign how sex ed could be delivered. Imagine that anything is possible.

We are awarding a $3500 scholarship to the winner of the Fresh Focus: Sex-Ed Video Contest and other prizes to the runner up. Read the official contest rules and submit entries at dogooder.tv/freshfocusvideocontest.

Democrats are targeting the youth with a laundry list of promises [which won't happen] and sadly some of us are buying into it. I mean yeah it would be great to have college for everyone but that isn't how it works. Our economy sucks right now and we have over a trillion dollars in debt. No one talks about that except Fred Thompson. Instead of Clinton, Edwards, and Obama bribbing us for their votes; they need to look at the big picture and look for ways to fix our economy.

I bet if you're NOT a college student only b/c you can't afford it, education is the most important thing to you. Think outside the box a bit, nosouldance. John Edwards recognizes that he would be nowhere close to where he is today if he hadn't been able to get his undergrad at an NC state university.
