VIDEO:  "Free Tope"

Students at the University of Wisconsin rally together after one of their own, Tope Awe,was taken into federal custody. Awe's parents came to America from Nigeria for medical treatment when she was just three. Since then the family's visas have expired, however America became Awe's home. See how these kids strive to keep it that way despite the government's plan to deport Awe and her family.

Wow, Charlie. That was really good. I'm going to pass it to some people in DC I met who work on immigrant issues.

I really appreciate that Erica. It'd be great to keep getting the story out there. Thanks for taking a look at the video!

What does it mean to be an American? Opportunity to be who you want, and to change when you want. I don't know what happened to Tope, but I hope she and her family still have this "American opportunity." Very insightful video; keep sharing the news Charlie.

thanks for checking it out. yeah the whole immigration issue raises a ton of questions, but it's always put into a different light when someone close is involved, as is the situation for the people in this film
