PICTURES:  DREAM Act Graduation

Taken at the DREAM Act graduation in Washington, DC. If passed, the “Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act” would facilitate access to college for immigrant students in the U.S. by restoring states’ rights to offer in-state tuition to immigrant students residing in their state.

How awesome that the DREAM act is still living even of the ongoing disagreements of others. I believe absolutely everyone has a right to education, being that a person any person young or old has a right to learn. I seriously cannot believe the negativity toward this act by some. Its just wrong, I think to not let anyone act on their full potential and to not facilitate thier difference for this country or the world even.

To support the DREAM Act, please send a letter to your Senators. Just sign a letter that is already provided by following the link at the bottom. It will not take more than 2 minutes. Please take 2 minutes of your day to support this legislation.

The DREAM Act provides a 6-year path to legal status for individuals who were brought to the U.S. years ago as undocumented children and who have stayed in school and out of trouble.

Have friends and relatives support this legislation too. The DREAM Act needs to pass this year, and it needs more public exposure, Make some noise!
