Rock 'n Renew is a non-profit environmental organization that promotes sustainability through art, music, ecology, and community projects. Working with The Kaiser Chiefs, Debbie Harry, Everclear, The Fountains of Wayne, and many other artists, we've created programs at concert events and art galleries, colleges, community gardens, and are currently constructing our own energy sustainable Ecology Center in Bayonne, N.j. We have recently teamed up with The NRDC's ItsYourNature.org, and have been working with Laurie David's StopGlobalWarming.org for some time. We are looking for students to help spread the word about local ACTION INITIATIVES- Projects that effect your town or city! We are always putting together events that highlight the easy and effective steps that everyone can take to make the world a sustainable one.

Plants do many things. Plants and trees convert carbon dioxide (Green house gas) to oxygen, filter impurities (Pollution) from water, shade the ground and other plants from overheating (Global warming), attract and hold moisture (Water conservation). They also can provide food , medicine, and fiber. Consider planting some seeds, and perhaps creating a whole new world.
