Rock 'n Renew is a non-profit environmental organization that promotes sustainability through art, music, ecology, and community projects. Working with The Kaiser Chiefs, Debbie Harry, Everclear, The Fountains of Wayne, and many other artists, we've created programs at concert events and art galleries, colleges, community gardens, and are currently constructing our own energy sustainable Ecology Center in Bayonne, N.j. We have recently teamed up with The NRDC's ItsYourNature.org, and have been working with Laurie David's StopGlobalWarming.org for some time. We are looking for students to help spread the word about local ACTION INITIATIVES- Projects that effect your town or city! We are always putting together events that highlight the easy and effective steps that everyone can take to make the world a sustainable one.

Isn't this site great?
I'll be putting together some Calls To Action over the next week. "The Ditch The Bag" campaign that we worked on with The NRDC's Itsyournature.org was fantastic! Some footage of the events at The Download Festivals will be up soon, but let us know if you'd like to continue efforts to stop using paper and plastic at the store.
