I think he won the prize in chemistry. Why? "Because he has great chemistry!" I don't care who you are. That's funny right there.
But seriously, don't you get a Nobel Peace Prize for actually doing something? And if the cut-off date for entering names in the drawing was February 1st, 2009, then that means Obama would have spent not even two weeks in the oval office before he was entered. And the timing of the announcement is awfully coincidental. Perhaps this was a Norwegian ploy to get the Light Worker to keep the peace in Afghanistan and not do the troop surge? Is this another slap in the face to George W.? I mean, after all Al Gore got the nod in 2007 and Carter got it in 2002. Is this a thank you from the United Nations to Barry because he's promised to smother our nation's sovereignty and "re-engage" the U.S. with the world? So a Chinese dissident and an Afghan women's rights activist lost out to someone with "overcelebrated...potential long before he's started to realize it". Well, what can you say about an award that lost all credibility when it was hung around the neck of Yasser Arafat.
