Frank Lombard, Associate Director of Duke's Center for Health Policy was recently arrested by the FBI and charged with offering his adopted 5-year-old son for sex. Apparently, he invited a stranger from out-of-state to come to North Carolina to rape his son.  He described himself on the net as "perv dad for fun".  Lombard also admitted to molesting the boy. 

Now, all of that you will definitely find in the article from the Associated Press.  What the AP "forgot" to mention was that Mr. Lombard is gay and was raising this child with his partner.  Also, the "reputable" news organization forgot to mention that the boy was black and the adoptive father was white.  Wow!  What a firestorm that would/should have ignited, right? 

I bring this to light because it has been implied before on Think MTV that atrocities of this level only occur within the conservative community.  However, this story is a huge proverbial black eye for those who peddle such misinformation.
