SO i just became american so i went to choose or loose no rock the vote filled out my registration and then sent it in. then i went to vote at the primary and my name wasnt there but they let me do a vote on paper anyway and said that I would be contacted about my registration. but still nothing... what should i do now to follow up... i certainly want to clear this up before november.

Your best bet would probably be to go to your local courthouse and register to vote in person. You will then get the card in the mail. They have made thousands of mistakes and not allowed people to vote because of them and they don't fix that vote so I wouldn't expect them to.

or you can also try to email your local government. when I registered my stuff took quit some time to show up as well. I don't know how things run where you live but here in Seattle, WA you usually don't know anything about weather your voteing stuff went through untill your first ballot shows up in the mail. But then again I'm an absentee voter who also has a voter's registration card which makes me eligable to vote outside the mailbox.
