My dad startng using in the Baltimore area at the time I needed him the most. I was a teenage girl. He has been at this for more than fifteen years. I dream of every day being able to send him into a center as I saw you do your mom but, I can not afford it. I know he would go as your mom did but, I want to say Mario,never buy your mother a hit. Imagine if that very money you gave her to get that hit is the hit that kills her. It seems like such a cruel thought but, its how thing happen and I hat to see you hurt. Try changing her invironment. Baltimore is a mess and you go away into these centers which are pleasant environments only to return to as we know one of the worst cities in the united States. Yes, we love our parents and will do anything for them. Don't think for one moment that the people she hang around doesn't infuence her. I have never heard of a successful recovery hanging around their same drug addicted friends. Everytime they hook up, she'll be back to the same mess.

in can relate so much with shawn,even tho i have nokids but until she gets herself clean of drugs what or how in the hell is she gonna be there for him.in for the people talking about her not being there for mario need to try being addicted to coke or heroin in see if they still give a damm after 3months or more of using all day,everyday about there kids,home,work,body ect.ect.then lets talk.i myself wouldnt want death on anyone,when i say death i mean using drugs as i did.but to the persons that have a problem with shawn not being their might need to walk the walk before they talk,the talk...i believe when shawn is ready mario,you will have the strongest person & best friend beside you.love nicky
