Clizbe Triplets Use Music To Overcome Disability
Posted November 06, 2009 at 11:47 AM

Brothers Craig and Matt Clizbe with recording artist, Robin Thicke.

The Clizbe brothers, Craig, David and Matt, love music. So much so that they've dedicated the majority of their young lives to promoting it. They run www.clizbeats.com, a music blog covering the hottest emerging and established artists.

But Clizbeats.com isn't an ordinary music blog. And the Clizbes aren't your ordinary bloggers. At a young age, Craig and Matt Clizbe were diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, a neurological disability that permanently affects body movement and muscle coordination. Though this disability can present both physical and mental challenges to those who are diagnosed with it, the Clizbe family did their best to fight through this obstacle and carry on a normal day to day lifestyle.

"We were given such great support in childhood that we always felt we could overcome it. Music, radio and the blog gave us a sense of personal identity and strength," said Craig.

Music has and continues to play a major role in helping the Clizbes overcome their disability. Craig, Matt and David have proven themselves in an often ruthless music world by deejaying, radio show hosting, and running clizbeats.com where they've had the opportunity to work with popular artists such as Robin Thicke, Keri Hilson and Diddy's Bad Boy Records.

I have always enjoyed the interviews at www.clizbeats.com because they always seem to get the best information about artist. The artists also seem to legitimately enjoy the conversations with Matt and Craig. I am glad they are finally getting some recognition from the media!

This is awesome!! Way to go Clizbeats!! I had the awesome pleasure of teaching Matt when he was in 9th grade and I have never met a more respectful, motivated, and determined young man. I knew back then that these boys would not allow anything to stand in the way of their dreams! I am so proud of all of you!!
