I believe I'm the best candidate for the TRL yearbook. I suceefully solicited block and organized neighborhood Block Club and became the Block Club President. I coordinate, promotes, and organizes events and fundrasing for family, friends and my block club. the last summer i work for Mack Alive/Buddies In Bussines a program design for teens to learn about financial planning an how to create a business plan. I work hard and the last election registering people to vote and even work at the pole. i believe my goal is to be the best that i can be for my community and city. With the help of Think MTV my cause will take action.

i would love to get the TRL year book becuase i have grown up with that t.v. show baiscally my whole life. i remember when britney, nsync and backstreet boys first came on to trl. My brother and i would look forward to seeing that show everyday. I really am going to miss the show...hopefully damien, lyndsey, hillary, or carson will come back with something just as awesome as trl.

In my community i have helped with the Go green concept and passed the word along to my family and other people that i know all over the country. a few years back and once a year my family and i go on a breast cancer walk in chicago. My aunt died because of it and i support the pink ribbon for breast cancer. My faith class helped a lot with children less fortunate than us, and not just children even adults who have gone through a lot. I learn a lot from everyone that i bond with. My faith went to a place called Inner Faith House where adults can't live in a home any longer. It's not a retirement home really. My friends and i had tons of fun making them food and playing games. We even got to hear stories about their past. Some i gotta say were really interesting.

what that poster said yesterday at the end of Trl finale is true. It's an end of an era. Thanks for letting us have an opportunity to share.

I would love the TRL yearbook! For the past three years, I have been fighting to have a law passed in the State of New Hampshire. The law is known as the Laci and Connor Act. The law was written to protect pregnant women and their unborn child. The concept of the law came from the murder of Laci Peterson and her unborn son Connor.   Since Laci is unable to speak for herself and her unborn child, I believe that her voice and her story should still be heard. I followed the trial of her husband Scott and prayed that he would be found guilty. Once he was found guilty and sentenced to death, I started to tell Laci's story to others, hoping they would understand why I believe this law is important. Even though I haven't won any of the battles, I still speak for Laci and Connor and I am still fighting for Laci and Connor! On top of fighting for this law, When I was in High Shool, I helped a teacher out in her classroom for 2 years,I watched TRL, I volanteered  as a Tae Kwon Do Instructor and I babysit for people in my neighborhood.

Thank you.

i would die if i won the TRL yearbook, i love TRL and im so sad that its off the air. I've usually always entered TRL contests but never won :/i help my community, because i was in girl scouts and almost every weekend we would clean up parks, and other places. I currently am a volunteer for a program that allows me to go to a school, and tutor a struggling first grader.I think thats a good learning and tutoring experience for them and for me. I also, took a  8 hour course on babysitting and CPR . i would love to win this TRL yearbook because my friends always say im generous or i think of others before myself, but i never get much in return.i'd be so happy if i won this!!

thank you(:

i would LOVE to recieve the TRL yearbook. it would mean the world to me. i love TRL and watch it almost everyday!

in my community i help alot.  i tutor kids who need help in different subjects. tutoring is a great experience because i love just helping out the kids watching them grow in the spots they have trouble in.

i am in KEY CLUB at school.  this is a club that helps out the community by giving back. this club is important to me and i love doing stuff like cleaning up campus and i also meet new friends!

before the past elections, i went with my mom to go help register voters and it was just so fun helping people and i think it made a difference even though we only registered a couple voters.

i also volunteer at the elementary schools at ESS. this is just an after school program. but i go once or twice a week and just hang out with the kids, helping them if they have problems or anything. the kids love when i come and i love being with them too. i really feel like i make a difference when i come because the kids look up to me and they are just so amazing.

i really hope i can recieve this prize. i am a huge TRL fan and i have watched for as long as i can remember it was around.

thank you(:

Hi....

"Here you go Candace" said Haley O. She is a kindergartner that I see every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. That day we were playing games out at recess when I saw Haley crying because she felt left out. I helped her through it, with nothing else but a couple of joke and a hug or two. At the end of recess Haley had plucked me all the yellow weeds and gave them to me with a huge smile on her face. Just then I realized that I made an impact in someones life. I love it. I love making a positve impact. When Im not working with the growing crazy kindergartners I spend time with the local high schoolers at my church. They are part of my life and everyone knows being a teen could be some tf the toughest years of your life. I just want to help someone by letting them know that they are not alone. I dont ever think of myself as being a saint, I just want to be involved. I want to know that Ive made a difference in someones elses life, with either just a smile or a shoulder to lean on. I just honestly think having the trl yearbook would be awesome, all of the artist that have signed that book have made an impact in someones life. hmh, Im pretty sure whoever gets the yearbook deserves it, I just think having the yearbook will be the best positive reinforcement for spending my time to make a change. My ultimate favorite quote.

"Its easier to make a buck, but its tougher to make a difference"

I'm really not one to brag about my community work and social work as a whole but I would say that it would really fill my heart with bliss if i could win this year book. Not because I have done XY&Z for others but because I am a die hard MTV/ TRL FANATIC!!!!!!!!! who loves music and the history of it with a passion. (Go ahead ask me anything about music and its guaranteed that I'll give the correct answer.)

I think i totally deserve this TRL yearbook. I give so much to my community. Hi! I am Alyssa and I am now in 8th grade. From the time I was in kindergarten to my 7th grade year i was a part of an organizataion called Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts is an orginazation that helpsout the community in any way that it is needed. In my troop we did everything from cleaning up ball parks to help younger girls achieve their goals. We did this thing ever year where we would go to camp. All of the older girls and adults would mkae up crafts that would require the younger girls to work togethor as a team. Even though I am not still a part of this organization my mom still is and i still participate in some of their events. For example, my favorite one is family day. We play a bunch of games and just spend time togethor. I also tink that i deserve this year book because I am apart of the beta club. Beta is an orginazation at my school that also give back to the community. In beta we help out with many organizations. One major project for the Beta club is Cristmas Crusade. Christmas Crusade is a organization that lets kids get presents even if their parents can't afford to get them one. The beta students go out and purchase item on their list and then they are delivered to a warehouse and they are sorted through. I have been apart of beta for 3 years now. These are the reasons why i think i deserve the TRL yearbook. I have given so much to my community and helped out so many people with many different things. I really hope I win this contest because I have never won a TRL contest. It would means so much to me to get this awsome yearbook

I feel i deserve this yearbook.

Last year I hand-made 24  blankets for the cause project linus. The blankets last year went to the people who were homeless and those who lost there homes in the devastating california fires.

In 5th and 6th grade i visited the sick at CHOC. This was something that meant a lot to me because i also visited my friend who had been diagnosed with luekimia.

This year I have cleaned up beaches for my community and am currently doing the Adopt-A-Family, which is a program which gives people who are less fortunate gifts and food for their family.

i will also be going to Peru to help the poor & help build houses.

I have also joined a group effort with my schools in the past and present and gave backpacks full of supplies for the children affected by Katrina, i have written numerous letters and sent care packages to the soldiers in Iraq, made presents for Operation Christmas Child, and have donated food many times to homeless shelters and places.

I have also ran too many miles to count in fundraising for, breast cancer, other cancers like luekimia, and those who are less fortunate than I.

My name is Mary and I am currently in the eighth grade. I have many plans to give back to my community in the future and i think i have layed out a good foundation and i look forward to doing more in the future.

I really wants this yearbook and hope i deserve it.

In my community I raised money for Diabetes and I also did a Diabetes walk in Boston. It was an amazing turn out and we reached our goal for the money total. It felt so good to help like that. :P

I feel i deserve the TRL yearbook because i try so hard to help out my community. I am involed in a youth outreach with my church and every year around christmas we volunteer at a coat giveaway and give out free coats, toys, and food we also have live music playing where i play silent night on my flute. This year we plan on going to nursing homes to sing chrismas carols for the elderly. We are also planning to stand outside of stores during the morning of the after Thanksgiving Sale and hand out hot chocolate to people waiting to get in.

I am also involed in numerous clubs at school. I am in the recycling club and we've made sure that every classroom has a box for recycling paper and every Thursday we take the boxes to the recycling center. This year we've added a few bins for recycling plastic bottles which we've placed all around the lunch room. Another club I am involved in is junior civitans which is a club consisting of community service projects. So far we've volunteered at an Octoberfest held at an elementary schools within our schools district and we've also volunteered at a family night at another elementary school in our district where my younger sister attends. The last club I'm in is Hi-Y which is for christians who want to help out their community doing community service projects. We've just recently sold pink ribbons and handed out brochures in our school for breast cancer awareness. For Christmas we plan to donate toys to local shelters for less fortunate kids and during the spring we're volunteering for a k-9 walk to help diseased dogs. I plan to do so much more for the future.

Im am really sad that TRL is no more. I had always planned to one day be apart of the audience and then pursue my dreams of becoming an actress and be on there again but as a guest. I am saddened that this will no longer happen. But I was thrilled when i saw that there was going to be a yearbook to giveaway because I really have been apart of TRL for 10 years. I'm 17 and I've been watching it ever since I was 7 in the 1st grade. I absolutely love TRL and I wish it didn't have to go. I really hope I win the yearbook, it would mean so much to me.

I've walked for Cancer in the year of 2007 with my friends. I've gone to the Ronald McDonald's House with my mom to give people who have cancer makeovers to make them feel beautiful. I'm also in the National Junior Honor Society in school and we do community work.  I've participated in community work at my church. When I attended Winslow School  I participated in a fundraiser for computers and I was one of the top producers all three years of elementary school. I won limousine rides and the opportunity to go inside of “The Funny Money Machine”.  At school I've given lots of food for the unforunate so they can have a wonderful thanksgiving like everyone else. I have lots of things to help the community and others. I feel I deserve the TRL Yearbook a lot.

I believe I'm the best candidate for the TRL yearbook. I believe that because I've been a really big fan of TRL about 8 years. So thats ever since I was only 6 years old I've been watching the show. In my communitee I go to an after noon program to help out Elementry School kids with homework that they are struggeling with. Also I go out with my church and pick up garbage off of the streets so the homeless dont have to deal with it. Speaking of the homeless, for literally every holiday a few of my frends and family members come with me to go deliver food to them because they deserve food too. So since people gave food to my family to us for Thanksgiving for almost 4 years, I thought what better to do then to give back for what I was given. When its really cold outside my church holds a fundraiser to raise money to buy clothes, hats, gloves, scarfs, ect. for the homeless too. At my youthgroup for church everytime i buy something like a pop or candy, I give all my change left over to the little buy that were helping to raise in Kawait. Lastly at least 1 time a month I go to the county police department and give a speach on what ever topic they give me, like this month was STD's and AID's and how you can prevent from getting them. I also baby sit for the local residents when they need a baby sitter. I am in almost every single club in my school to help with our enviornment. So since I think I've given so much to everybody, I think I should get something that would me the world to me in return. Thats why I think I deserve the TRL yearbook. I REALLY WANT TO WIN!!!

THANK YOU AND GOT BLESS YOU,

                THE BIGGEST TRL FAN EVER
